Quotations: Quotes are valid for the period stated. Unless otherwise indicated, quotes exclude third-party supplier costs, venue hire and travel where applicable.
Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when Avunik issues a written confirmation and any required deposit is received. Specific deliverables and timelines will be set out in the confirmation.
Bookings, Deposits & Payments
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure dates unless otherwise agreed. Deposit amounts vary by package and are noted on the written quote.
Final payment: Final balance is due by the date stated in your agreement (commonly 14–30 days before event). Failure to pay may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.

| Interim payments | As invoiced | May apply for multi‑stage projects |
| Final balance | 14–30 days pre-event | Late fees may apply |
Cancellation, Postponement & Refunds
We aim to be fair and transparent. Cancellation and refund entitlements are governed both by your contract with Avunik and by Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Client cancellations: If you cancel, fees may be retained to cover planning time, supplier commitments and direct costs. Where goods/services are not provided due to our breach, ACL guarantees may apply.
Postponement: We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate date changes; additional fees may apply for rebooking suppliers or recovery of non-refundable costs.

If you believe a refund is due under ACL, please raise the issue using our contact channels. See dispute resolution at #sec-7.
Liability, Insurance & Force Majeure
Liability: Avunik carries professional indemnity and public liability insurance as appropriate. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for direct loss is limited to fees paid for the Services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses except as required by ACL.
Insurance: Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate event insurance covering cancellation, property damage and public liability.
Force majeure: Avunik is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions). Parties will cooperate to agree fair alternatives.
Intellectual Property & Photography Use
All creative materials, proposals, mood boards and designs produced by Avunik remain our intellectual property unless expressly assigned. Clients are granted a licence to use materials for their event.
Photography & media: By engaging our services you may be consenting to Avunik using non-identifying images of event set-ups for marketing. Specific photographer copyright and usage are agreed directly between you and the appointed photographer; ensure permissions where required.

We engage trusted suppliers and subcontractors for catering, floristry, photography and other services. Supplier terms and cancellation policies may apply in addition to ours. We will always disclose significant vendor obligations on confirmation.
Clients are responsible for any supplier costs arising from changes to scope or late approvals that cause additional supplier charges.
